Plan your trip using Google Earth or preview the PCTmap.net waypoints and data. This is the same data that is on the printable maps but formatted as a Google Earth file. If you are using the PCTmap.net printable maps or GPS waypoints on your hike, your friends back home can easily follow along on Google Earth if they know what halfmile waypoint you are near. The waypoints will match across the printable maps, GPS and Google Earth.
